In addition to the requirements stated in the section "Admissions Process", a student transferring from a foreign country or from a foreign-accredited school must comply with the following documents, according to the norms established by the Dominican Ministry of Education:
1. The student's original birth certificate with an Apostille. This seal must come from a Dominican Consulate in the city where the student was born.
2. An official final report card for the most recent school year with an APOSTILLE from a Dominican Consulate in the city where the student completed the school year.
*Students applying to 7th grade through 11th grade, must also submit official final report cards (or transcript) with an Apostille, for all the grade levels completed since 6th grade.
When the family arrives in Dominican Republic, these documents need to be translated into Spanish by an official and authorized public translator, and then submitted to the Dominican Ministry of Education for validation. This procedure will be required to enroll in any Dominican school.
